Aizawl, Guwahati breathes cleanest air in India today. Check top 8 cities

While major cities in North India, such as Delhi and Chandigarh, struggle with worsening air quality, places like Aizawl, Guwahati, and Bagalkot recorded some of the cleanest air. Mizoram’s capital, Aizawl, leads a group of cities where air quality remains notably clean, with AQI levels below 50 — classified as “good.”

The air quality index in Aizawl today stood at 32, under the “good” category, offering residents a healthy environment. Guwahati and Bagalkot were the second and third least polluted cities with their AQI registered at 42 and 45, respectively.
