AAP, BJP face off over Rohingya resettlement in Delhi

A war of words broke out between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the BJP after Delhi Chief Minister Atishi raised concerns about Rohingya refugee resettlement in the national capital.

In a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Atishi accused the BJP-led Centre of resettling Rohingya refugees in Delhi without consulting the AAP-led state government.

The BJP hit back by saying, “Rohingyas snatching away rights of Delhiites. These illegal immigrants need to be removed from Delhi.AAP is settling Rohingyas for vote bank.”
