At least five people died, and three others were injured in a road accident in Jharkhan’s Bokaro on the Bokaro-Ramgarh National Highway, officials said.

The condition of one of the persons admitted to the hospital is serious.

The Medical Officer at a Community Health Centre in Bokaro, Sweety Bhagat, said, “Five people were brought dead, and three are injured. One is in serious condition…”

Details about the nature of the accident and the victims are yet to be ascertained.
