Kyle Richards Confirms Truth to Camille Grammer’s Take on Mauricio Umansky’s Midlife Crisis – All About The Real Housewives

In a revealing moment during the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle Richards opened up to former co-star Camille Grammer about the current state of her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky, amid their separation. The conversation took an unexpected turn as Camille, who has personal experience with divorce, agreed with Kyle’s thoughts, suggesting that Mauricio’s behavior could indeed be linked to a midlife crisis.

Kyle Richards Confirms Truth to Camille Grammer’s Take on Mauricio Umansky’s Midlife Crisis

On the December 17 episode, Kyle Richards shared her observations with Camille, commenting that Mauricio’s current living situation—a bachelor pad with no responsibilities—was reminiscent of a “midlife crisis.” Camille, who divorced actor Kelsey Grammer in 2010 after 13 years of marriage, quickly sympathized with Kyle’s perspective, offering her own take on the matter.

“Nothing to do with the day-to-day,” Camille explained, adding, “It’s a party for them! Midlife crisis, this is fun, young girls…” The 56-year-old seemed to recognize the familiar patterns of behavior that can emerge when someone is navigating a major life transition, especially at a time of midlife reflection.

While Kyle initially laughed off Camille’s comment in the moment, the conversation didn’t end there. During the episode’s after-show, Kyle admitted that there might be some truth to what Camille had said. “I would say this to his face, which I actually have,” Kyle shared. “Kind of watching how he’s been navigating through this situation, there’s been times where I’ve thought, ‘Oh, this is giving major midlife crisis vibes.’”

One specific example stood out to Kyle Richards as indicative of Mauricio’s current mindset: a recent purchase he made. “All the way down to the car he bought for a house in Aspen that I just called a ‘midlife crisis mobile,’” Kyle said. “It’s just a big monster truck that isn’t… the outside is, like rough sandpaper-y, and it’s got these big wheels. It looks like a monster coming through town. It’s not like one you see around, and everyone stares and you’re like, ‘Oh, god!’”

Kyle was candid in her assessment of the situation, acknowledging that there are emotions tied to this experience that sometimes “bring out the worst” in people. She went on to explain, “Listen, when you’re in this group and you have leftover feelings, it’s always going to bring out the worst in you.” For Camille, whose divorce from Kelsey Grammer was well-documented and impacted her deeply, talking about this topic triggered her own past feelings. As Kyle noted, “Obviously Camille, her divorce was very highlighted in this group, and it was very impactful on her life. So, when someone talks about it, she can… it comes up! She can relate to that it obviously affected her a lot.”
