Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing the Lok Sabha, shed light on the success of the One Nation, One Grid initiative, ensuring uninterrupted power supply across India. He was speaking during the discussion on the 75th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of India.

Recalling past challenges, he said, “There were times when one part of the country had power, but it wasn’t supplied to other regions, leaving them in darkness. During the previous government, India was defamed globally through such headlines. We have seen those days.”

PM Modi credited his government’s commitment to unity and adherence to the Constitution for the initiative’s success, ensuring consistent electricity supply to every corner of the nation.
