Spent cartridges found amongst fire wreckage in Los Angeles

The BBC’s Emma Vardy saw bullets strewn over streets while touring the fire damage in Los Angeles, California, on Thursday. Some were spent cartridges while other bullets remained live. When fires were burning the BBC heard bangs, pops and explosions, sounds which may have been bullets going off in the heat.
